Market Renovation Project (Former Factory)

The project is located within a urban village in Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It sits at the boundary between the urban village and the city, occupying the remnants of a former hardware factory. Following in-depth research, analysis, surveys, and discussions with residents, the project was designated as a small-scale "community complex" within the urban village. It comprises a market, convenience sports facilities, and office spaces.We fully leverage the site's advantages, extract the texture of the urban village, and preserve cultural memories of the village while strictly controlling renovation costs. This allows us to meet the needs of various stakeholders and villagers, creating a brand-new community space tailored to the needs of the residents.
