Tender Winning Proposal Design for Chongqing Shapingba Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Traditional maternal and child health hospitals often express visual care and concern for women and children through rich colors or rounded architectural contours. We attempted to innovate the form of maternal and child healthcare buildings by incorporating the concept of "origami."

To meet the practical needs of medical functions, we designed wind-and-rain corridors connecting the three main functions of the hospital. The corridors, projecting balconies, and main entrance portico all employ a "light," "cheerful," and "warm" origami-inspired design, creating a more welcoming architectural style that adapts to the climate and meets practical requirements while enhancing affinity.
